CONGRATULATION Irfan!
|
|
After two pre-school years, Irfan graduated at last. Next year he'll be in Year One. Haiii .. dah besor anak aku
During the graduation ceremony, he did us proud. He was the imam, leading his fellow friends reciting the Doa. Brought tears to my eyes
Again, he had also shown how talented he can be ... berdikir barat dengan kawan-kawan.
Then, he was among who received a certificate of excellence for memorising the Surahs in Muqaddam, the daily doas, 25 Rasuls, the Pillars - Iman and Islam and completing his Iqra'.
Ibu and Ayah are really proud of you.
Congratulation again, Irfan.

It has been almost a month since I updated my page. I did snapped few pictures here and there but got no time to download them in here. Just to wait for them to be downloaded .. haiiiiiiiii!! memang membantutkan selera!!
So, today ... no pictures. It almost midnite and I don't think I want to tolerate the long and boring downloading period ... maklumlahhhh dial-up jer! hehehehe ...
Will find some time to do it in a day or two, insyaAllah.
Salam Ramadhan untuk semua yang sudi menjengah ke fotoblog ini ... walaupun gambar2 di sini hanya koleksi peribadi ... nothing artistic about them Terima Kasih.

Irfan the photographer
|
|
Images above were taken by 6-year-old Irfan. His first shot at being a photographer and the results?... quite impressive ... errr to his mum's eyes of course!
Especially like the way he took the pics of his brother and sister looking longingly at people playing in the pool. The angle shot from behind them captured how the kids longed to be in the pool, too. Though, their faces were not shown but I can feel them

My first flower entry
|
|
Roses
I love roses. The problem is, they have thorns. One day I was thinking of how a rose's thorns can hurt, but a rose is still a beautiful flower, and I also thought of how life can hurt but also is still great.
People don't hesitate to pick a rose despite the fact that the thorns can prick them, just as they should not be afraid to take risks because they might be hurt.
P/s: rupanya bunga mawar (Rose) ni bunga kebangsaan USA. baru tau ... hmmm nampak gayanya kena amik lagi banyak gambor bunga raya .. bunga kebangsaan kita yang makin jarang orang tanam sekarang

Traditional Clogs
One of the most original items to take back home from Amsterdam are clogs, Holland's traditional wooden shoes. Clogs date as far back as 1367, probably even older, and have been worn as daily footwear ever since. In Holland's wet and cold climate, only clogs will keep your feet dry and warm at all times. And they're more comfortable than you would think! You can find a large variety in clogs and see clog making and clog painting at De Klompenboer.
Clogs are made of balsa-white poplar wood. The trees are especially grown for this purpose. For a perfect pair of clogs y you need fresh, wet wood, cut in square blocks. The wood is then chopped and smoothed in the right shape. To last a long time, finished clogs are painted. Traditional clogs are painted yellow with a red pattern. Each village used to have its own pattern. Nowadays clogs for daily wear are still yellow and red and souvenir clogs are painted in a large variety y of patterns and colours, varying from flowers to entire street scenes.
